PURPOSE and OBJECTIVE

A. PENGERTIAN
Purpose, kata ini juga berarti tujuan, tetapi dalam pengertian alasan mengapa ingin mencapai goal. Contohnya adalah ketika memiliki tujuan untuk punya banyak uang dan alasan untuk memiliki banyak uang adalah agar bahagia, maka hal tersebut disebut dengan purpose.

Objective, kata ini sering diartikan sebagai tujuan spesifik dari sebuah tindakan. Tujuan yang disebut objective selalu bisa diukur dan biasanya dibingkai dalam waktu tertentu. Spesifik, bisa diukur dan dibuktikan ketercapaiannya, dan kapan tujuan ini harus tercapai pun jelas disebutkan. Tujuan-tujuan kecil ini (objective) biasanya harus tercapai demi mencapai tujuan yang lebih besar (goal).
